Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. She has released over 20 albums of studio work. DiFranco has released more than 20 albums. Ani Difranco is believed as a feminist icon and a Grammy award-winning. As one of early female musicians in the 1990s, DiFranco created her own label. DiFranco was born on 23rd September, 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Dante Americo DiFranco. Her father was of Italian descent and her mother was born in Montreal. Ani's song, 32 Flavors was written by her, and performed by Ani. The song is featured on her sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995. This track appears on the film soundtrack for the Canadian romantic drama Better Than Chocolate from 1999. DiFranco apologized in 2013 after it became clear that she'd set up a three-day workshop at the Louisiana plantation. The workshop was cancelled, but she didn't show any regret.
