Brie Larson

BrieBrianne Sidonie Desaulniers (born October 1, 1989), known professionally as Brie Larson, is an American actress. Her supporting roles in comedy as a teenager were her forte, but she has since gone on to appear in major blockbusters as well as independent films. Larson has been honored with numerous awards like an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She has also been awarded an award called the Primetime Emmy Award. Time magazine named Larson as one of the 100 most important people on the planet for 2019. Larson was admitted at age six to the American Conservatory Theater's educational program. Her acting career began in 1998 when she appeared in a sketch comedy on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. In 2001, she was the main character in the show Raising Dad. She also had a brief stint in music with the release of her album titled Finally Out Of P.E. in 2005. Larson appeared in supporting roles in comedy films Hoot (2006) and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2010) and 21 Jump Street (2012). In 2009, Larson also appeared as a sardonic teenager named Tara in the television show United States of Tara (2009-2011). Larson continued to perform supporting roles in the films The Spectacular Here (2013) and Trainwreck (2015). As a character in the drama Room, she played a kidnapping victim. in the dramatic Room (2015), Larson received the Academy Award for Best Actress. The adventure film of 2017 Kong: Skull Island marked her first major-budget release in which she played Captain Marvel in the Marvel Cinematic Universe which began with Captain Marvel (2019).
